About the Role
The Operations Shift Manager at Coca-Cola Ballina leads a diverse team responsible for delivering our beloved beverage brands to market. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager and contributing as a key member of the wider management team, this role expects proactive, hands-on leadership to optimize shift performance and team dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire, and motivate a multi-skilled operations team within an empowered, collaborative environment, ensuring full team engagement.
- Oversee daily operations to comply fully with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Implement daily and weekly operational plans aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure all corrective and preventive measures are completed promptly to prevent recurrence of service and quality issues, including addressing audit non-conformances.
- Maintain consistent, clear communication with team members through regular daily, weekly, and monthly meetings.
- Champion operational excellence and foster a culture of continuous improvement using lean methodologies and systems.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a third-level diploma or degree in business or a technical field.
- At least three years’ experience leading people, including recruitment, staff development, performance coaching, and daily operations supervision in an operational context.
- A strong commitment to continuous improvement practices.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities with sound decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to thrive in a team-based, matrixed, and sometimes ambiguous setting.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated success in meeting results within a high-performance, goal-driven environment.
- High proficiency with PC applications.

Location and Travel
This position is based in Ballina, County Mayo, Ireland. Travel is expected to be between 0% and 25%. Relocation assistance is not provided.
