Role Overview
The company is looking for experienced and committed Online Tutors who are well-versed with the Irish Curriculum to join Mixt Academy. Candidates should possess comprehensive subject knowledge, strong communication skills, and the capability to deliver engaging and effective lessons remotely to students following the Irish education system.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver subject teaching aligned with the Irish Curriculum.
- Develop and present lessons tailored to meet individual student needs.
- Support students in strengthening their conceptual understanding and exam techniques.
- Provide guidance on exam strategies, assignments, and practice with previous exam papers.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive and timely feedback.
- Encourage and motivate students to reach their academic objectives.
- Maintain professional communication channels with students and their parents or guardians.
- Conduct interactive and engaging online sessions using platforms such as Zoom and Google Meet.
Candidate Requirements
- In-depth knowledge and experience teaching the Irish Curriculum.
- Preferably a Bachelor’s degree or higher in the relevant subject area.
- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching is strongly preferred.
- Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Familiarity with Irish examination systems and assessment methodologies.
- Access to a reliable internet connection and suitable environment for online teaching.
- Passionate about teaching and mentoring students effectively.
- Strong organizational capabilities and effective time management skills.
- Ability to engage, inspire, and support learners productively.
