Role Overview

This position involves supporting online learners by leveraging your expertise in business and managerial analytics to help students achieve their academic and career objectives. You will serve as a subject matter expert, facilitating engaging digital learning experiences and guiding students throughout their educational journey. This part-time, fully remote role requires collaboration with academic teams to maintain a high-quality digital education environment, combining teaching, mentoring, assessment support, and student engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead online learning activities that foster student involvement, engagement, and understanding.
• Provide ongoing support to students through discussion forums, email correspondence, and live sessions, ensuring communication and visibility every 24-48 hours during instructional periods.
• Evaluate student assignments and deliver constructive, timely feedback aligned with learning outcomes.
• Utilize your subject matter knowledge in business analytics to offer effective guidance to learners.
• Partner with academic teams to ensure course quality and uphold instructional standards.
• Create a supportive and inclusive online environment that promotes student retention and engagement.
• Contribute to a positive team culture aligned with organizational values and engage in continuous enhancement initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

• Postgraduate qualification in Business Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related area.
• Minimum of five years’ practical experience in data analytics, data governance, stakeholder engagement, project environments, and applied agile methodologies.
• Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, coaching, or supporting learners is highly desirable.
• Strong command of business analytics concepts and their real-world applications.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to provide clear guidance and feedback.
• Empathy towards the challenges faced by online learners.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to work independently.
• Proficiency in using online learning platforms and digital collaboration tools.
• Ability to commit approximately 8 hours per week on a sessional part-time basis, with potential increases during assessment periods or heightened student demand.
• Must reside in Australia.
