Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Back Office Executive / Office Boy to assist with our daily book processing tasks. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing books through various inventory stages and ensuring the warehouse remains orderly and efficient.
Primary Duties
- Apply barcodes accurately on books before they enter inventory.
- Use the company's inventory management system to scan books.
- Stock books into their designated storage areas.
- Regularly perform audits to ensure inventory records are accurate.
- Keep book racks clean and maintain warehouse tidiness.
- Organize books systematically following company protocols.
- Detect and report any damaged or misplaced items.
- Provide support to the operations team for maintaining precise inventory documentation.
- Adhere to set standard operating procedures for book handling.
- Assist with other warehouse or office tasks as directed by supervisors.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum education level: completion of Class 10; Higher Secondary education preferred.
- Basic familiarity with smartphones or barcode scanning devices.
- Physically capable of handling books and cartons.
- Integrity, discipline, and punctuality are essential traits.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.
- Open to learning new methods and processes.
Compensation
The monthly salary offered ranges from 10,000 to 11,000 INR.
