About the role
You will be the welcoming face of the headquarters in central Hamburg and the first point of contact for national and international visitors, investors, clients, and suppliers. In this position, you will help ensure smooth day-to-day office operations and provide practical support to colleagues across all office-related matters.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the front office representative at the company’s Hamburg headquarters and serve as the initial contact for guests, business partners, and suppliers.
- Support the overall office organization and assist the team with a wide range of workplace-related topics.
- Share reception and phone switchboard duties with a colleague, while also handling office supply orders and incoming and outgoing mail.
- Welcome visitors and coordinate preparation and follow-up tasks for meetings.
- Assist with the planning, preparation, and execution of team events and client events.
- Take on the role of an internal well-being champion by proactively suggesting and implementing ideas that improve the everyday experience for colleagues and external visitors.
Requirements
- Completed commercial training or a comparable degree program.
- Initial professional experience in a similar role.
- Very good written and spoken German and good English skills.
- Confident use of the MS Office suite.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a high level of commitment, and a pronounced service mindset.
- Professional, well-groomed, and friendly appearance.
- Ability to stay composed and calm even during busy periods.
