Role Overview
The Night Auditor position, based onsite in Frankfurt, offers an engaging full-time opportunity encompassing overnight front desk management. Responsibilities include facilitating late night guest check-ins and check-outs, addressing guest needs, and maintaining a secure and efficient environment throughout night hours. The Night Auditor balances and reconciles daily financial accounts, generates end-of-day reports, confirms accuracy of room charges and payments, and manages cash and credit card transactions reliably. Additional duties involve overseeing reservations, updating guest data, coordinating across departments as necessary, and maintaining clear and courteous communication with guests and team members. Adherence to all operational policies and ensuring consistent, courteous guest service are essential components of the role.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Expertise in front desk operations, including handling reservations, check-in, and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Excellent communication and customer service capabilities to professionally manage guest inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
- Proficient and accurate in cash handling, payment processing, and daily financial reconciliation.
- Previous experience in hospitality, particularly in night audit or front office roles, is highly desirable.
- Ability to work overnight shifts with strong attention to detail and multitasking without close supervision.
- Familiarity with hotel property management software and general computer applications is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, dependability, and a commitment to maintaining security and confidentiality standards.
- Completion of vocational training or relevant education in hospitality, business, or related disciplines is preferred.
