Role overview
Casa Colina is launching its New Graduate RN Program in September 2026. This position is based in Pomona, California, and is intended for new nursing graduates entering rehabilitation nursing under the supervision of a preceptor.
About the role
The rehabilitation nursing team supports people living with disabilities and/or chronic illnesses so they can reach and preserve the highest possible level of function. In this setting, the nurse helps clients adjust to changes in their daily lives while contributing to a supportive therapeutic environment for both clients and their families.
The role also involves developing and carrying out care approaches grounded in nursing theory focused on self-care, with an emphasis on promoting physical, psychological, and spiritual well-being.
Program timeline
The New Graduate RN Program is scheduled to start in September 2026. All applications need to be completed and submitted no later than midnight on August 11, 2026.
Information session
Casa Colina will hold a New Grad Information Session on Tuesday, August 11, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Candidates who would like to attend should RSVP to humanresources@casacolina.org.
Requirements
- A current and valid California Registered Nurse license must be obtained by September 1, 2026.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
- The applicant must have graduated from an accredited professional nursing education program.
