About the Role
Aliphdeen Recruitment & Consultants Pvt Ltd is hiring experienced NDT Technicians and Multi NDT Technicians for overseas positions in Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is in the oil & gas, refinery, pipeline, power plant, and industrial inspection sectors.
The role is suited to candidates with hands-on exposure to refinery, oil & gas, pipeline, power plant, shutdown/turnaround, vessel, boiler, column, filter, or heavy equipment inspection work.
What You Will Do
You will perform non-destructive testing and inspection tasks based on project needs and site standards.
- Carry out inspection work using approved NDT techniques.
- Perform Ultrasonic Testing, Penetrant Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Visual Testing, and similar inspection methods.
- Complete ultrasonic thickness checks, weld examination, and corrosion assessments.
- Inspect pipelines, vessels, boilers, columns, filters, and industrial machinery.
- Interpret technical drawings, isometric drawings, and inspection plans.
- Document findings in clear and accurate NDT reports.
- Follow safety procedures, permit systems, and quality requirements on site.
- Use and maintain NDT equipment correctly.
- Work closely with QA/QC inspectors, supervisors, and other site personnel.
Required Testing Methods
Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following:
- UT – Ultrasonic Testing
- PT – Penetrant Testing
- MT / MPI – Magnetic Particle Testing
- RT / RFI – Radiographic Testing / Film Interpretation
- VT – Visual Testing
- UTG – Ultrasonic Thickness Gauging
Qualifications
A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant technical qualification is preferred.
ASNT Level II certification is preferred.
Additional certification in QA/QC Mechanical, Welding Inspection, or Piping & Pipeline Engineering will be an advantage.
Experience in Gulf countries, refinery shutdowns, or turnaround work will be preferred, and prior exposure to oil & gas, refinery, pipeline, or power plant projects is beneficial.
Skills Needed
Strong understanding of NDT inspection procedures, the ability to read technical and isometric drawings, report writing skills, safety awareness, communication, teamwork, and the ability to work effectively in industrial or refinery environments are important for this role.
Salary and Benefits
The offered salary is SR 1,500 to SR 3,000 per month.
A food allowance of SR 500 is also provided.
