Role Overview
The position of Motor Insurance Lead is tasked with administering and maintaining the company's motor insurance schemes. This role involves managing daily operations, ensuring adherence to regulations, optimizing insurance policies, and working closely with the department head to synchronize with corporate strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the implementation and ongoing administration of motor insurance programs, covering fleet and employee vehicles.
- Ensure daily activities conform to company policies and operational standards.
- Evaluate program effectiveness continuously and recommend enhancements.
- Regularly update knowledge on local motor insurance laws and industry benchmarks.
- Identify potential risks associated with the motor insurance portfolio.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and prepare for relevant audits.
- Manage collaborative relations with insurance providers and brokers.
- Support contract negotiations for motor insurance under senior leadership guidance.
- Supervise the claims resolution process to guarantee prompt and accurate handling.
- Assist in managing the motor insurance budget and track expenditures.
Qualifications and Experience
- University degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, Risk Management, Insurance, or related disciplines.
- At least 5 to 7 years of professional experience in motor insurance management or comparable sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of motor insurance products and associated policies.
- Possession of relevant industry certificates such as CEBS or GBA is advantageous.
- Proven experience working with vendors and sustaining business relationships.
