About the company
Fabric Social is a social agency built around standout content, trend-led creativity, and community-first strategy. The focus is on creating brand experiences that build genuine connection and conversation, rather than simply generating reach. The team is now hiring a Midweight Designer to contribute strong, original design thinking across the agency’s work.
Role overview
In this position, you will create eye-catching visual content that helps brands stand out. The role spans static, motion, and interactive deliverables, with an emphasis on design that performs well, encourages engagement, and fits the platform it appears on. You will collaborate closely with strategists, creatives, production specialists, and client-facing teams to raise the quality and ambition of the work.
Key responsibilities
- Develop high-quality designs for campaigns, digital channels, OOH, and social formats, adapting your output to suit each platform.
- Partner with creative colleagues to turn campaign ideas into compelling visual concepts.
- Protect and strengthen both client brand identities and the agency’s own visual style across every touchpoint.
- Create a mix of static assets and lightweight motion pieces that feel natural within social and digital environments.
- Adapt and extend brand systems for fast-moving social content while keeping consistency intact.
- Handle several projects at once, work quickly when priorities shift, and maintain a high standard under pressure.
- Track emerging design trends, tools, and aesthetics so the work stays current and culturally relevant.
- Work alongside photographers, videographers, and illustrators to execute creative ideas; extra value if you also contribute photography, illustration, or similar skills.
- Support teammates, share knowledge, and help improve the overall design capability of the group.
- Deliver polished, accurate, and platform-appropriate final artwork with strong attention to execution.
What we're looking for
You should be a versatile designer who understands how creative systems translate across multiple channels. Strong experience producing work in different formats is important, along with comfort in motion design and light animation. You’ll need a sharp eye for emerging social and digital styles, the ability to translate brand identity into fresh contextual work, and a strong sense of craft, especially around typography and motion detail. The role suits someone who works well in a busy, collaborative environment, solves problems proactively, and turns work around efficiently. Advanced confidence in Figma is essential, alongside solid ability in Photoshop and Illustrator, plus a working understanding of After Effects.
What you'll get
- The chance to influence the visual direction of a growing, culture-focused social agency.
- Exposure to brands that are looking to do ambitious, boundary-pushing work.
- A creative environment that values experimentation, bold ideas, and strong craft.
- A team made up of creative, trend-aware people who are passionate about their work.
