Role Overview
This is a full-time onsite position based in Dubai, focused on supporting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) work. Duties involve assisting with installation, repairs, and maintenance in line with project and safety standards. Candidates will prepare work areas, assist senior technicians, conduct routine service checks, and ensure proper use and storage of tools. Collaboration with team members and adherence to company protocols on residential and commercial sites are essential.
Responsibilities
- Assist with installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Follow project guidelines and safety regulations during all tasks.
- Interpret basic MEP drawings and instructions.
- Prepare workspaces and organize materials effectively.
- Support senior technicians in diagnostics and inspections.
- Conduct routine service operations and report any issues promptly to supervisors.
- Maintain and properly store tools and equipment after use.
- Work cooperatively within a team environment on various sites.
- Adapt to flexible working hours and demands of physically intensive tasks.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Competence in supporting installation, maintenance, and repair related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Basic knowledge of MEP drawings, materials, and tools, with eagerness to learn more advanced skills.
- Strict adherence to safety protocols and personal protective equipment usage.
- Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills suitable for fast-paced environments.
- Previous experience in MEP, construction, or related technical roles preferred; vocational training or certification is advantageous.
- Physically capable of meeting onsite demands and following supervisory instructions.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible to meet project scheduling requirements.
