Overview
Join Brightline as a Member Support Specialist to assist members with enrollment, appointment coordination, billing, and general administrative support. This role contributes to a dedicated team during an exciting growth period, playing a vital role in delivering exceptional service to families accessing Brightline’s behavioral health care.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate first contact calls with new members to evaluate suitability for Brightline’s services.
- Arrange member appointments and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
- Assist clinical providers with various administrative functions.
- Address administrative inquiries from members between sessions.
- Carry out eligibility verification, claims processing, and facilitate member payment collections.
- Maintain excellent organization within the Member Support team’s internal software system.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance member satisfaction, streamline clinical team workflows, and improve operational efficiency as the organization expands.
Required Qualifications
- Strong enthusiasm for Brightline’s mission to transform behavioral health care for children and their families.
- Dedication to delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable member experiences.
- Motivated to contribute to the development of a pioneering healthcare solution through hard work and a positive attitude.
- Comfortable navigating various technological tools including email, electronic health records (EHR), and scheduling platforms, with eagerness to learn and improve systems.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills combined with strong organizational abilities.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to thoroughly completing all tasks, both simple and complex.
- Prior experience in managing medical office operations and familiarity with insurance billing processes are advantageous.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in Spanish to assist Spanish-speaking members and provide bilingual support.
Compensation and Benefits
- This is a fully remote position working Monday through Friday, 12pm to 9pm PST.
- Hourly wage target range between $21 and $25, dependent on qualifications and other factors.
