Job description
Role Summary
We are seeking a full-time Member of Technical Staff specializing in frontier AI, to remotely contribute to pioneering advancements in AI models and systems. This position centers on delivering deep technical input to research and development initiatives that redefine the limits of artificial intelligence capabilities.
Primary Duties
- Conceive, develop, and enhance cutting-edge AI architectures and algorithms.
- Lead research efforts aimed at boosting model scalability, efficiency, and overall performance.
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams to deploy AI solutions into live production environments.
- Document and disseminate research outcomes via technical reports, whitepapers, and academic conferences.
- Assess and compare emerging AI models, frameworks, and computing accelerators.
Qualifications and Expertise
- PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Expertise in deep learning platforms such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Strong knowledge of distributed training at scale and model optimization methods.
- Hands-on experience with AI-specific hardware like GPUs and TPUs.
- Proven ability to drive independent research projects and technical developments.
- Familiarity with reinforcement learning, generative models, or AI systems processing multiple data modalities.
- Superior analytical and debugging skills for complex AI systems.
- Capability to clearly explain technical concepts to a varied audience.
