Position Overview
Stark Pharma Solutions Inc is seeking a driven Mechanical Engineer with up to one year of experience to support engineering and manufacturing activities related to equipment in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device sectors. This long-term opportunity is ideal for recent graduates or professionals at the start of their careers, offering hands-on involvement in manufacturing support, process enhancement, troubleshooting, documentation, and engineering projects within a regulated setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist manufacturing and engineering teams with production equipment and process operations.
- Help with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment.
- Create and maintain engineering documentation including SOPs, equipment records, and work instructions.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, and Maintenance teams to address and resolve engineering challenges.
- Support equipment qualification, testing, and initiatives to improve processes.
- Participate in investigations, root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions associated with equipment or process issues.
- Ensure adherence to GMP, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Engage in engineering projects and support cross-functional teams.
- Maintain precise regulatory-compliant documentation.
- Adhere to corporate policies and promote operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Up to 1 year of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or manufacturing environments (including internships or academic projects).
- Basic familiarity with manufacturing equipment and mechanical systems.
- Understanding of engineering drawings and mechanical principles.
- Prior exposure to GMP, GDP, or regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to function well within cross-disciplinary teams.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement is advantageous.
