About the Role
Join an ambitious, early-stage VC-backed startup, recognized for building a category-defining product and supported by leading investors in Europe. As the Marketing Growth Executive, you will serve as the deputy in a compact, tightly-knit marketing team, partnering directly with the founder of the marketing function. This role offers genuine autonomy and influence from the outset—your work will have a measurable impact and your ideas will be valued.
Key Responsibilities
This position primarily involves hands-on campaign delivery. Your focus will be on SEO and AEO strategies, managing LinkedIn and Google Ads campaigns, CRM oversight, social media and content management. Working closely with the Marketing Lead, you will experiment, analyze and develop a scalable growth engine. You will also gain insights into commercial strategy and pipeline development and contribute to shaping the marketing function’s expansion as the company prepares for its next funding round.
Candidate Profile
- Approximately 2 years’ experience within a fast-paced or startup/scale-up environment; near fits are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency across various marketing disciplines, especially SEO, paid digital channels (LinkedIn and Google Ads), CRM systems, and content marketing, with a strong analytical mindset.
- A proactive problem-solver who identifies inefficiencies and independently implements improvements.
- A motivated individual eager to learn rapidly and eventually step into a Marketing Lead role as the team expands.
Crucially, we seek someone with independent judgment who uses AI tools to supplement—not replace—their decision-making. You will engage with diverse stakeholders, from agencies to the CEO, requiring confidence, curiosity, and a resourceful, can-do attitude.
Fit for You If
- You take initiative and enjoy fixing gaps without waiting for explicit instructions.
- You seek early ownership and growth opportunities within a small, visible team.
- You aim to evolve into a senior marketing position in a scaling company willing to invest in your development.
- You thrive on variety, toggling between SEO, paid channel performance, content creation, agency coordination, and CRM tasks.
May Not Suit You If
- You prefer to specialize narrowly in one marketing channel rather than handle broad responsibilities.
- You want to follow a predefined marketing playbook rather than co-create strategy from the ground up.
- Fully remote work is essential to you, as this role requires three days weekly onsite in Canary Wharf.
- You prefer working within a larger, more layered team structure.
Why Consider This Opportunity
- Real ownership and autonomy right from the start.
- Visibility and recognition in a small team where your contributions matter.
- Clear advancement prospects as the company grows post-Series A funding.
- Backing from top-tier early-stage investors and existing market traction.
Practical Information
- Compensation: Approximately £45,000 annually, flexible depending on experience.
- Benefits include birthday off work, private health insurance, and a monthly wellness stipend.
- Work schedule: Three days per week onsite in Canary Wharf (Tuesday to Thursday).
