Role overview

MEG is hiring a highly organised, detail-focused Events & Marketing Executive to lead coordination and delivery across a packed events programme. The role sits at the centre of how the company develops relationships in healthcare, covering large international trade shows, smaller customer roundtables, and an expanding webinar calendar.

This is a practical, hands-on position where you will manage events from early planning through to follow-up after they finish. In addition, you will assist the wider marketing function with outreach, content work, and sales enablement.

Responsibilities

You will oversee trade show and exhibition activity, owned events, webinars, and day-to-day marketing support.

  • Coordinate MEG’s presence at healthcare trade fairs and exhibitions around the world.
  • Handle exhibitor logistics such as booth reservations, shipping, stand assets, branded giveaways, travel planning, and staffing rotas.
  • Manage pre-event and post-event outreach, along with follow-up nurture activity.
  • Research and identify new events that are relevant to the business.
  • Track event spending and prepare ROI reports for management.
  • Create and share event briefing guides for colleagues travelling to or attending events.
  • Plan and execute MEG-hosted in-person events.
  • Arrange venue research, invitations, catering, AV setup, and on-site coordination.
  • Support the planning and delivery of internal company events.
  • Capture photos, video, or other content at events for later promotion.
  • Manage webinar delivery end to end, including scheduling, speaker coordination, platform setup, registrations, and promotion.
  • Run rehearsals, provide live support during sessions, and step in as moderator when needed.
  • Handle follow-up after webinars, including recordings, attendee communication, and lead handoff.
  • Support outreach initiatives and prospect engagement.
  • Assist with content development and repurposing.
  • Help prepare sales enablement materials with the wider team.

Requirements

To be successful, you should bring solid event coordination experience, strong organisation skills, and comfort working remotely with multiple stakeholders.

  • At least 2 years of experience in event coordination or event planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage several events at the same time while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of webinar tools such as Zoom Webinars, Livestorm, GoToWebinar, or similar platforms.
  • Experience using HubSpot or a comparable CRM/marketing automation system.
  • Strong organisational ability, time management, and communication skills.
  • Confidence working remotely with distributed teams, suppliers, and external partners.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for important events, with travel expected to be limited.

Advantageous experience

  • Background in healthcare, B2B SaaS, or another regulated sector.
  • Experience promoting events through email marketing and social media.
  • Prior exposure to webinar support or moderation.
  • Comfort using design tools such as Canva for event collateral.
