About the Role
Our client in North York, Ontario is looking for a detail-focused Project Coordinator to join their marketing team on a three-month contract. This hybrid role involves working four days onsite and one day remotely, typically Fridays, with flexible 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM work hours. You'll support marketing projects from planning to execution in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, gaining experience in product launches and campaign coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers in planning, organizing, and executing various projects.
- Monitor timelines, deliverables, and deadlines to keep all stakeholders aligned.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including agendas, minutes, status reports, and version control.
- Track project progress and share updates with internal teams.
- Arrange meetings, manage calendars, and coordinate project logistics and team activities.
- Support procurement and vendor interactions along with general administrative assistance.
- Maintain invoice tracking, Excel spreadsheets, assist with budgeting and support finance tasks.
- Aid new product launches by handling samples, product photography, inventory logging, and launch coordination.
- Manage social media content on Instagram and TikTok, including creation, scheduling, posting, and engaging with the community.
- Design marketing assets using Canva and CapCut and manage content via Meta Business Suite.
- Utilize AI tools and marketing resources to enhance campaigns and content development.
- Identify and report any project risks, issues, or delays promptly.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 2 years in project coordination, project administration, marketing coordination, or a related support role.
- Highly organized and capable of juggling multiple responsibilities in a dynamic setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proactive, detail-driven, and solution-oriented approach to work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with project management tools like MS Project, Asana, Smartsheet is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, and Meta Business Suite for social media management is highly preferred.
- Creative inclination toward digital marketing, social media, and product launch activities.
- Recent graduates with relevant internship or cooperative education experience are welcome to apply.
Team and Work Environment
You will become part of a creative and collaborative marketing team working on innovative products focusing on three core areas: color cosmetics, fashion accessories and beauty tools, and ESG-focused product development and quality assurance. The team offers structured onboarding and training to support your success.
Work Setup and Additional Information
- Hybrid schedule: four days onsite in North York and one remote day (usually Fridays) with flexible work hours.
- No travel is required for this position.
- Immediate availability is preferred, and candidates should inform about any planned summer vacations during interviews.
