Join us as a Market Street Baker and become the welcoming face of our in-store bakery, where you will contribute to providing high-quality, freshly prepared baked goods and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure customers have confidence in the steady availability of freshly baked products.
- Keep bakery displays fresh, visually appealing, and replenished throughout the trading day to encourage sales.
- Prepare various bakery items—including breads, rolls, doughnuts, and fruited products—according to company specifications, utilizing professional equipment such as provers, ovens, and mixers.
- Deliver friendly and attentive service, assisting customers to create memorable moments and highlight our traditional baking skills and fresh products.
Candidate Profile
- A naturally friendly and helpful individual who enjoys engaging with people and excels in customer interaction.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with an active role.
- Proactive in addressing and resolving customer inquiries using own initiative.
- Skilled in operating bakery equipment while adhering strictly to health and safety standards.
- Competent in baker skills, particularly mixing and molding dough to craft bakery products.
- Flexible to work across multiple fresh food counters to meet customer needs on Market Street.
