This role of Manager, Product Management for Commercial – Travel & Expense (T&E) is crucial within Mastercard's Commercial segment, a $4.9 trillion opportunity regionally. The Commercial Platforms are key differentiators in driving success for Mastercard's commercial business. The Smart Data platform, which is critical to the commercial strategy, is central to this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage specific custom client demands, provide issuer training, and offer ad-hoc support for the Smart Data portal.
- Identify vulnerable processes and implement solutions to mitigate issues and accelerate revenue realization.
- Facilitate the development, execution, and deployment of product features to the market.
- Manage contracts and billing associated with product performance.
- Monitor Smart Data key performance indicators (KPIs) and uncover growth opportunities.
Role Expectations
- Collaborate effectively as a team player with substantial product management experience.
- Maintain a strong customer-centric approach while managing stakeholders including clients, internal teams, and third-party partners.
- Establish productive relationships with global counterparts.
- Build networks among product, customer delivery, and customer support teams.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of Mastercard's Smart Data suite and commercial transaction flows.
- Translate customer expectations into deliverable outcomes with the account team.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Background in one or more: product management and development, agile development, technology development and operations, commercial products or commercial payments.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and influence skills to build consensus across diverse internal units and external partners.
- Familiarity with PME (Product Management Excellence) framework.
- Undergraduate degree required; MBA is preferred.
Corporate Security Responsibilities
- Adhere to Mastercard’s security policies and standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of accessed information.
- Report suspected information security breaches promptly.
- Complete all mandatory periodic security training as per company guidelines.
