About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and visionary professional to join our Planning & Strategy Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative strategies that cultivate a robust talent pipeline. The focus is on enhancing curriculum quality and alignment with emerging technologies to meet future industry demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate technology and media talent strategies aligning with current and upcoming developments in these sectors.
- Coordinate initiatives spanning Pre-Employment Training, Continuing Education, Scholarships, and Global manpower integrations to ensure cohesive policy execution.
- Perform comprehensive research, trend analysis, and forecasting to identify new roles and skills required in the tech and media workforce.
- Generate strategic data-driven insights to facilitate informed policymaking processes.
- Serve as a representative voice in technology talent-related discussions through diverse communication and engagement platforms.
- Oversee and organize strategic resource allocation and management within the team.
- Design and manage the cluster’s work plan, monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and prepare corporate reports for management review.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess between 2 to 6 years of experience relevant to planning or strategy roles.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills capable of delivering clear, concise analysis, assessments, and presentations.
- Adaptable and effective working independently or collaboratively in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Background in public sector organizations or involvement in the technology industry focusing on industry development and manpower policy/planning is a plus.
- Experience in proposing initiatives and engaging with senior-level stakeholders, including senior management and political office holders, is advantageous.
