Job Overview

This role supports the Project Manager/Project Director in managing project management tasks related to power generation projects at various sites under TPL, focusing on Level 1 and Level 2 network activities. A key focus is assisting with resource planning to ensure smooth execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Create plans, schedules, and monitor progress while preparing detailed reports.
• Coordinate timely equipment delivery and monitor turnover processes.
• Generate Progress Control Reports and track project delays.
• Issue official communications regarding delays and requests for time extensions.
• Monitor completion of packages and systems and manage punch point progress during handovers.
• Identify and alert on projects or packages approaching the critical path to prevent delays.

Required Experience and Education

The position requires a Graduate Engineer with 2 to 15 years of experience in mechanical erection within power plants.

Reporting Structure

Reports directly to the Project Manager or Project Director.

Supervisory Responsibility

This role does not include managing any direct reports.

Competencies and Skills

• Proficient in IT tools for project tracking and monitoring constraints.
• Experience with project sequencing and construction/project management systems.
• Knowledgeable about power plant engineering, equipment, tools, and the project lifecycle.
• Familiarity with project planning techniques including staging and methods.
• Ability to anticipate input needs such as manpower, machinery, and finances.
• Cross-functional understanding of supply chain management and contracts.
• Strong organizing, communication, analytical, interpersonal, and persuasion skills.
