Position Overview
The Manager of Operations acts as the key operational liaison between the home office and field locations within a designated region (East or West). This role oversees audits, supports real-time store communication, conducts store visits for training and compliance, and partners closely with the Regional Director to ensure smooth store operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee comprehensive audit duties for assigned region ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion.
- Manage a real-time store support channel on Teams addressing credit memos, refunds, and operational inquiries.
- Conduct recurring visits to stores for audits, training programs, and compliance evaluations.
- Collaborate directly with the Regional Director on store performance, operational challenges, and process enhancements.
- Serve as the operational connector between home office departments and field staff.
- Supervise and develop the Assistant Manager of Operations.
- Create and implement training materials on operational procedures for store associates.
- Identify persistent store issues and escalate to the Director for resolution.
- Maintain and update standard operating procedures related to regional audits.
- Monitor and report on audit metrics, support response times, and training completion rates.
- Work with the Guest Solutions team to address cross-functional store issues.
- Support operational activities related to new store openings and transitions within the region.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in retail operations, audits, or field management is required.
Physical and Work Environment
- Lifting up to 10 pounds may be required.
- Approximately 25% of time spent standing and traveling.
- Work locations include office settings and retail field environments.
- Typical schedule involves weekdays and occasional weekend work as needed.
