Role Overview

A leading management consulting firm in Singapore is building out its senior leadership bench and recruiting for multiple levels, from Consulting Manager through Partner. The mandate is to help clients deliver transformation, unlock growth, and strengthen the firm’s market presence through strong delivery, commercial impact, and thought leadership.

The position is based in Singapore and is aimed at experienced consulting leaders who can contribute across strategy, operations, digital, and transformation work.

Levels Included

Consulting Manager, Senior Manager, Director, and Partner.

Responsibilities by Level

Consulting Manager

• Run workstreams and guide small teams on strategy, operations, or transformation assignments.
• Take ownership of day-to-day client coordination, analysis, issue solving, and insight delivery.
• Coach junior team members and help strengthen internal capabilities.
• Assist with business development through proposal support and relationship-building activities.

Senior Manager

• Lead multiple engagements or large programs from start to finish with complete delivery accountability.
• Serve as the main point of contact for senior client leaders, including C-suite stakeholders.
• Steer solution design, delivery quality, and commercial performance.
• Drive internal initiatives and make meaningful contributions to proposals, business development, and the firm’s market reputation.

Director

• Manage important client accounts and hold responsibility for the relationship’s commercial performance.
• Develop and win complex transformation programs with executive-level buyers.
• Build trusted advisor relationships and grow the account over time.
• Lead practice-building efforts, major proposals, and senior talent development.

Partner

• Set market direction and support growth across Singapore and Southeast Asia.
• Originate and close multi-million-dollar opportunities while owning P&L and equity leadership responsibilities.
• Act as executive sponsor for strategic clients and complex programs.
• Strengthen the firm’s brand, shape thought leadership, and build the future leadership pipeline.

Common Responsibilities Across All Levels

• Deliver high-value consulting assignments across strategy, digital, operations, and transformation.
• Form hypotheses, analyze complex information, and turn findings into clear recommendations for senior decision-makers.
• Develop and sustain strong client relationships in Singapore and across APAC.
• Contribute to the firm’s knowledge base, intellectual property, hiring efforts, and workplace culture.

Qualifications and Experience

This opportunity is open only to candidates with prior experience in leading management or strategy consulting firms. A bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university is required, and an MBA or other advanced degree is preferred. Candidates should have deep knowledge in one or two of the following industries: Financial Services, TMT, Consumer, Healthcare, Energy, or Public Sector.

Successful applicants will bring a strong record of client delivery, team leadership, and business development, along with excellent analytical ability, communication skills, and executive presence.

Level-Specific Experience

• Consulting Manager: At least 6 years of total experience, including 3 or more years in consulting.
• Senior Manager: At least 8 years of total experience, including 5 or more years in consulting and a demonstrated contribution to sales.
• Director: At least 12 years of experience, including 7 or more years in consulting and a strong track record of originating work.
• Partner: At least 15 years of experience, with an established network in Southeast Asia, an active book of business, and a history of P&L leadership.
