Management Accountant

Overview

GreenDot Tea Production Company is seeking an experienced and meticulous Management Accountant to enhance strategic decisions by delivering precise financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance evaluations. This role will partner closely with management to drive cost control, improve financial efficiency, and fuel the company’s growth through data-informed insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile monthly management accounts alongside financial reports and performance analyses.
• Design, implement, and track budgets, forecasts, and overall financial strategy.
• Evaluate financial data to uncover trends, possible risks, and growth opportunities.
• Provide management teams with dependable insights to aid strategic planning.
• Track company performance against predetermined financial goals and KPIs.
• Conduct cost analyses and propose methods to enhance profitability.
• Support planning of cash flows as well as financial forecasting activities.
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies and accuracy in all financial reports.
• Contribute to financial audits and maintain internal control procedures.
• Collaborate cross-departmentally to elevate financial outcomes.
• Spot potential cost-saving avenues and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline is required.
• Professional accounting accreditation (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent) is advantageous.
• Prior experience in management accounting or financial analysis roles.
• Comprehensive understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
• Strong analytical capabilities coupled with effective problem-solving skills.
• Advanced command of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software systems.
• High attention to detail and experience in handling sensitive financial information confidentially.
• Effective communication and presentation abilities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
