About Wynn Al Marjan Island
Wynn Al Marjan Island is preparing to open in the United Arab Emirates in 2027 as a luxury beachfront destination designed for guests who want both relaxation and entertainment. The resort is being built on a scenic island that curves into the Arabian Gulf and is located under 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport. Once open, it will feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, a nightclub, and a five-star spa.
About the Role
The Database Marketing team is hiring a Machine Learning Operations Engineer to help move data science work into dependable production systems. This role focuses on keeping machine learning models running smoothly, supporting marketing use cases, and ensuring the outputs are ready for operational use.
What You Will Do
- Deploy, observe, and support machine learning models used for gaming marketing and player analytics.
- Turn data science output into automated workflows for scoring, segmentation, and campaign-ready datasets.
- Keep model processes dependable by handling scheduling, failure detection, and alerting.
- Work closely with data scientists to take new models into production, improve performance, and strengthen reliability.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines that feed model features, refresh inputs, and run scheduled scoring jobs.
- Set up quality checks to catch data drift, model decline, and operational issues.
- Track versions and maintain documentation for models, pipelines, and deployment steps.
- Coordinate with Campaign Operations so outputs match business rules, audience targeting needs, and production timelines.
- Partner with IT and infrastructure teams on compute capacity, storage, and overall system performance.
- Assist with retraining, validation, and controlled release of updated model logic.
- Follow internal data governance and security requirements.
What We Are Looking For
- A Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or another relevant technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in data science, ML operations, data engineering, or production machine learning environments.
- Strong hands-on capability in Python, SQL, and workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or similar platforms.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms.
- Familiarity with model lifecycle management, CI/CD practices, and Git-based version control.
- Ability to convert analytical needs into reliable, production-ready processes.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with daily and weekly operational commitments.
