Role Overview

The company is hiring a Supply Chain & Logistics Operations Specialist to handle customer order execution from purchase order award through to final delivery. This position also contributes to the growth of its logistics arm, Defenix Logistics.

This is a hands-on operational role rather than a standard logistics position. The selected candidate will coordinate suppliers, freight forwarders, logistics partners, and customers to keep every order moving smoothly until delivery is completed.

The role calls for a proactive professional who can manage multiple international shipments, fix operational issues quickly, keep records accurate, and ensure each project is delivered efficiently and in a polished manner.

Key Responsibilities

Order execution and shipment coordination form the core of this role, along with customer communication, document control, and support for process improvement.

• Oversee customer orders from PO award through to successful delivery.
• Liaise with suppliers to monitor production progress, stock availability, lead times, and shipment readiness.
• Drive timely completion of all operational stages.
• Coordinate international freight movements with shipping partners and logistics providers.
• Handle shipment planning, customs paperwork, import/export steps, and delivery scheduling.
• Track consignments and resolve logistics-related issues before they affect delivery.
• Serve as the main operational link between suppliers, logistics partners, and customers after the order is awarded.
• Share regular delivery updates and maintain clear, professional communication.
• Make sure all documents are complete before goods are handed over to the customer.
• Prepare commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping papers, delivery documents, and operational reports.
• Keep operational records well organized and aligned with customer and logistics requirements.
• Look for ways to improve execution speed, operational efficiency, and overall supply chain performance.
• Support the ongoing development of Defenix Logistics and build productive relationships with logistics partners and freight forwarders.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, freight forwarding, import/export, or operations.
• Proven experience managing international shipments and coordinating with suppliers.
• Good knowledge of shipping documents, customs processes, and supply chain workflows.
• Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage several projects at the same time in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience in aviation, defense, industrial supply chain, or project logistics will be an advantage.
• Strong professional English communication and business writing skills.
