Role Overview
The Logistics Supervisor position is a permanent role based in Plantation, Florida, offering a hybrid work model with partial remote work flexibility. This role entails overseeing daily logistics operations and customs compliance, including shipment routing and coordination to ensure timely and cost-efficient deliveries. The supervisor leads and develops team members by assigning tasks, tracking productivity, and enforcing safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory accuracy, perform stock reconciliations, and resolve delivery discrepancies.
- Maintain consistent and effective communication with clients, carriers, and internal departments.
- Monitor key operational performance indicators and drive continuous process enhancements to boost efficiency and service quality.
Qualifications & Skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching and supervising teams while managing staff performance.
- Proven experience in operations management, workflow coordination, and process optimization within logistics contexts.
- Strong customer service aptitude to address inquiries, solve problems, and uphold positive client relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for liaising with vendors, teammates, and customers.
- Knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and experience in supply chain or distribution settings, preferably in supervisory roles.
- Familiarity with logistics or warehouse management software, as well as spreadsheet and reporting tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment combining on-site and remote duties.
- Exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and solid problem-solving capabilities.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related disciplines.
