Role Overview
The Logistics Analyst plays a vital part in supporting warehouse and logistics functions by handling essential system transactions, monitoring incoming shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and generating operational reports. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, this position ensures precision, transparency, and follow-through in critical operational processes.
Key Duties
- Manage processing of item receipts, assembly constructions, work orders, and inventory modifications within relevant software systems.
- Monitor inbound shipments and liaise with vendors, carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to address and resolve delays, missing paperwork, carrier exceptions, and customs clearance complications.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to receiving, shipment delays, missing documentation, and inventory concerns.
- Prepare routine and on-demand reports that support logistics, inventory management, and warehouse activities.
- Maintain and update documentation for logistics procedures, labeling, inventory activities, and reporting workflows.
- Effectively communicate delays, issues, and exceptions to appropriate internal departments.
Candidate Profile
- At least two years of experience in a Logistics Analyst or comparable logistics, inventory, or operations support capacity.
- Experience utilizing ERP, OMS, and WMS software systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including abilities in reporting, data cleansing, and basic analytical tasks.
- Knowledge of inbound shipment tracking, customs clearance processes, and related shipment documentation.
- Experience interacting with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when dealing with logistics, inventory, and operational data.
- Strong communication abilities and persistent follow-up skills with both internal teams and external collaborators.
- Organized and capable of managing multiple priorities and open issues simultaneously.
