Light Duty Cleaner

Job Overview

This position involves performing various cleaning and housekeeping duties at a hotel, motel, or resort setting. The role requires working onsite with no option for remote work. Previous experience is not necessary as training will be provided. English language skills are required, but no formal education credentials are necessary.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Dust furniture to ensure a neat environment.
• Vacuum carpets, area rugs, drapes, and upholstered furniture.
• Make beds and replace sheets regularly.
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guest areas.
• Stock the linen closet efficiently with necessary supplies.
• Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Clean and sanitize elevators.
• Manage and report lost and found items appropriately.
• Respond to guests' needs by providing additional supplies or assistance.
• Offer basic information about the facility to guests.
• Remove debris and empty trash containers consistently.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning tasks including window, wall, and ceiling washing.
• Maintain cleanliness of changing rooms and showers.
• Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

• Fast-paced environment with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Tasks may be repetitive and physically demanding.
• Handling heavy loads and performing activities including bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
