Lift/Elevator Technician

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Lift/Elevator Technician based in Dehradun to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on elevators and lifts. The role involves regular preventive maintenance visits, urgent responses to breakdowns, and ensuring safe operation and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance visits according to the approved service plan.
• Promptly respond to lift breakdowns and emergency calls to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults affecting elevator performance.
• Perform repairs, adjustments, or replacement of faulty components efficiently.
• Ensure safe rescue procedures for trapped passengers adhering to safety protocols.
• Inspect key elevator elements including lift performance, door operation, ARD, safety circuits, and control panels during each service visit.
• Document all maintenance work and repairs in service reports or designated registers.
• Notify the Service Manager about significant malfunctions that may require spare parts or quotations.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the lift machine room, pit, and car top post-service.
• Provide guidance to clients on correct lift usage and report any misuse or damages observed.
• Report daily attendance, job status, pending issues, and material needs promptly.
• Escalate any recurring breakdowns or safety concerns immediately to the Service Manager.
• Meet company-defined timelines for response and job completion.
• Support annual inspections, lift licensing checks, and modernization projects as necessary.
• Ensure customer signatures are secured after each completed service or repair job.
• Maintain professionalism, uphold discipline, honesty, and confidentiality while representing the company.

Compensation

The position offers a monthly salary ranging between 25000 to 35000 INR.
