About the Role
Our client is a well-established Irish food manufacturing company known for its high standards of quality, operational excellence, and strong dedication to employee development. They are currently looking for a skilled Site Trainer to join their team to manage and deliver training across the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct employee induction sessions covering topics such as manual handling, food safety, and site protocols.
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver training programmes tailored for both new hires and existing staff.
- Keep precise records of training activities, including training matrices and certificates.
- Arrange external training courses, including Forklift Truck (FLT), Reach Truck, Shunter, Stacker, and First Aid certifications.
- Monitor expiry dates of training to ensure timely refresher courses are undertaken.
- Create and update training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions to keep them current.
- Collaborate with Production Managers, Supervisors, and Team Leaders to identify training needs.
- Track the progress of trainees and generate reports for management review.
- Support company compliance requirements, assist with audits, and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
- Maintain and champion the organization’s training systems and processes.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrable prior experience in a comparable training role within a manufacturing environment.
- Essential Train the Trainer accreditation.
- Experience in conducting induction and on-the-job training sessions.
- Skilled in organising First Aid and operational equipment training; experience with FLT training is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Strong organisation and time management capabilities.
- Aptitude for engaging and motivating employees across various levels of the organization.
- Background in food manufacturing is advantageous but not mandatory.
Compensation and Conditions
This is a full-time permanent position, based fully onsite in Monaghan, Ireland, with an annual salary ranging from €40,000 to €50,000.
