Learning and Development Specialist

Role Overview

This position involves spearheading the design, coordination, and advanced implementation of learning and development programs across the organization. The specialist will ensure the efficient rollout of talent development initiatives that support Innovo's strategic business goals while enhancing organizational performance.

Key Duties

• Lead and manage complex L&D initiatives across corporate and project teams.
• Assist in the creation and continuous enhancement of both internal and external training programs.
• Serve as the primary contact for learning projects, ensuring alignment with corporate timelines and needs.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior L&D staff when applicable.
• Coordinate and analyze training requirements from various departments and projects.
• Contribute to the execution of the yearly training plan and learning calendar.
• Monitor training outcomes and recommend enhancements based on participant feedback.
• Manage training-related budgets and aid in cost-reduction efforts.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of learning data within LMS or HR systems.
• Create comprehensive training reports and dashboards for leadership review.
• Oversee mandatory and compliance training programs, ensuring timely completion and audit readiness.
• Support learning initiatives connected to performance management, leadership growth, and succession plans.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning through targeted communication and initiatives.
• Identify and integrate innovative and cost-effective learning solutions and digital tools.
• Encourage novel approaches to maximize value and minimize costs without sacrificing quality.

Candidate Profile

• A bachelor's qualification in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Education, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 6 to 9 years of progressive experience in learning and development, HR, or training roles.
• Experience working within construction, infrastructure, or engineering sectors is highly preferred.
• Proficient understanding of learning management systems, training frameworks, and adult education principles.
