Role Overview
We seek a Lead Cleaner to uphold the highest cleanliness, hygiene, and organizational standards across the restaurant. This position involves supervising dishwashing and housekeeping teams, maintaining strict adherence to cleaning schedules, sanitation protocols, and health and safety regulations to ensure a safe, spotless, and efficient environment in compliance with Dubai Municipality food safety laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct daily cleaning operations and oversee team activities.
- Train new team members and foster positive team morale.
- Ensure pristine condition of all front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
- Manage and execute thorough deep cleaning procedures.
- Oversee dishwashing processes to maintain uninterrupted service including the availability of clean plates, glassware, and utensils.
- Enforce compliance with HACCP standards and ensure safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and hygiene documentation supporting audit readiness.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in supervisory roles within cleaning, stewarding, or housekeeping in hospitality environments.
- In-depth knowledge of restaurant cleaning and sanitation standards.
- Strong leadership qualities with exceptional organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain composed under pressure.
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
