Position Overview and Duties
The Lead Administrative Specialist at GS-0301-14 level provides expert advisory services to assigned program areas, supporting personnel management, safety, space management, and various administrative functions. Responsibilities include managing and maintaining data within automated systems for processing payments related to delivery and acquisition of services.
This role also involves developing clear performance metrics for administrative support functions and reporting these to senior management. The specialist will communicate deadlines and priorities to upper management and undertake security program management duties, including continuity of operations, operational security (OPSEC), and serving as the occupant emergency coordinator.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must be United States Citizens or Nationals and pass security background investigations along with drug screening. Eligibility is limited to current permanent Department of Justice employees holding competitive status or CTAP/RPL eligible candidates. All applicable time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
Specialized experience required is at least one year at the GS-13 level or equivalent, demonstrating advisory capabilities in administrative services such as personnel or space management. No education substitution is permitted at this grade level.
