About the Company

AHORN Hotels & Resorts is a family-run hotel group headquartered in Berlin and among the 30 highest-revenue hotel chains in Germany. The group operates seven hotels across Brandenburg, Lower Saxony, Saxony, and Thuringia. The role is based at the 4-star Best Western Ahorn Hotel Oberwiesenthal, located at the foot of the Fichtelberg in the Ore Mountains. The hotel has 172 rooms and around 50 employees, all contributing to guest service and operations.

Responsibilities

Carry out monthly stock counts and evaluate the inventory results
Receive goods and check delivery notes and invoices
Review and post incoming invoices as well as internal stock transfers
Ensure smooth movement of goods into the relevant storage areas
Place orders for assigned departments or areas
Maintain storage areas in a tidy, hygienic, and accurate condition

Profile

Previous experience in warehouse management and handling food products
Solid working knowledge of Excel and Word
Reliable, independent, and accountable way of working
Strong commitment, initiative, and motivation
High standards of quality and accuracy
Valid Class B driving licence
Forklift licence is desirable but not mandatory
