Role overview
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will help keep the kitchen running smoothly, cleanly, and safely. This position suits someone with a positive attitude, an interest in food, and a strong sense of responsibility rather than extensive prior experience.
You will report to the General Manager. Both full-time and part-time arrangements are available. Pay is €14.15 to €14.50 per hour, depending on experience and the duties assigned.
Key duties
- Support daily kitchen setup, wash dishes, and step in wherever extra help is needed.
- Maintain cleanliness by following cleaning schedules and making sure work surfaces, equipment, and kitchen areas remain spotless.
- Carry out prep work according to kitchen procedures and standard operating processes to keep operations efficient.
- Follow food hygiene and allergen-safety rules carefully to maintain high safety standards.
- Assist the General Manager in keeping the kitchen organised, safe, and well managed.
- Provide support to the wider team during peak periods, particularly the lunch rush.
