Role Overview
For the Schwerin location, the HCH Umwelt GmbH is looking for a full-time Kalkulator (m/w/d) in the fields of demolition and pollutant remediation as soon as possible. HCH Umwelt GmbH is part of Deutsche Umwelttechnik GmbH, a nationwide group active in pollutant remediation, demolition, and recycling.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost calculations for construction projects in the commercial and public sectors, with a particular focus on public-private partnership projects in demolition and pollutant remediation.
- Review and assess tender documents from public and commercial clients.
- Develop quotation documents, including schedules of quantities and offer sheets for cost estimates.
- Create the foundation for project calculations.
- Take responsibility for preparing cost estimates.
- Build calculations from the initial budget stage through to the final construction price, including indirect cost components.
- Monitor the successful execution of demolition and pollutant remediation projects.
- Handle project invoicing and final accounting for construction work.
- Transfer knowledge into a database and support the implementation of calculation workflows in newly introduced software.
Candidate Profile
- Completed degree in civil engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in construction project estimation.
- Strong practical exposure to the construction industry.
- Solid technical and commercial understanding.
- Good knowledge of VOB and, in addition, BGB.
- Business-fluent German language skills.
