Role Overview

Spire is looking for an early-career Social Media & Content Manager to join its Growth Marketing and Go-To-Market team in Munich. In this position, you will help plan, create, coordinate, and optimize content and social activity that builds brand awareness and drives audience engagement. You will partner with experienced marketers and teams across the business to contribute to campaigns, content production, and day-to-day marketing operations in a fast-moving space technology environment.

What You Will Do

  • Support the creation and rollout of content for Spire’s digital and offline touchpoints, including the website, blog, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and events.
  • Draft social media copy, help write video scripts, reuse existing content for new formats, and keep editorial plans up to date.
  • Assist with social publishing, post preparation, asset uploads, comment monitoring, and basic channel performance tracking.
  • Create simple visuals and short video pieces using templates and marketing design tools.
  • Turn technical input from internal experts into clear, engaging content with guidance from senior colleagues.
  • Help prepare campaign assets such as email copy, landing page text, visuals, videos, and social campaign posts.
  • Support short-form video production by trimming footage, adding captions, selecting visuals, and preparing drafts for review.
  • Monitor industry conversations, keep an eye on competitor activity, and support community engagement through likes, comments, and shares.
  • Collect channel metrics, help build straightforward reports, and surface basic insights for improvement.
  • Work with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to maintain shared content, update files, and ensure brand consistency.

Requirements

  • About 1 to 2 years of experience in content creation, social media, or digital marketing; working student experience and junior-level backgrounds are welcome.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Strong writing skills in both German and English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
  • Working familiarity with LinkedIn and/or YouTube.
  • Genuine interest in storytelling, technology, and space or aerospace topics.
  • Basic ability to use simple editing or design tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, or AI-based platforms.
  • Willingness to learn quickly, accept feedback, and take on more responsibility over time.
  • An organized, proactive mindset and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced international setting.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in B2B or technology-focused environments.
  • Early exposure to analytics tools such as HubSpot or native social platform analytics.
  • Interest in AI-powered content tools.
