Role Summary
The Junior Project Manager, Operations will support the Operations team in handling the maintenance and service needs of completed submetering projects. The role focuses on organizing and carrying out field ticket requests, including planning, resource coordination, approvals, material procurement, and communication with outside teams. The position calls for proactive communication, early identification of risks, and a continuous-improvement mindset to help operations stay effective as business needs evolve.
Responsibilities
- Assist project managers in keeping ticket-related work on track and the schedule running efficiently.
- Assess ticket requests, draft job instructions for contractors and technicians, complete resolution steps, and maintain updated records.
- Arrange access to buildings and suites for contractors and technicians before site visits.
- Work closely with the broader Operations team to build and maintain an effective field schedule.
- Deliver strong customer service while applying sound time management and problem-solving in support of operations projects.
- Take on additional operational tasks as needed to support project delivery.
Requirements
- A technical diploma or degree from a recognized college or university.
- Between 1 and 3 years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling.
- Comfort using Microsoft tools such as Excel and SharePoint, along with other relevant software.
- Exposure to MS Power Automate is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Clear communication skills and a professional approach that supports positive customer relationships.
- A valid Ontario driver’s licence.
