Position Overview
Astek is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support the delivery of client projects from order initiation to final completion. This role involves working collaboratively with sales, design, production, customer service, and warehouse teams to ensure project accuracy and timely execution under purchase order-based agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with end-to-end management of client projects ensuring milestones are met.
- Verify purchase orders and maintain precise project documentation and records.
- Monitor schedules and collaborate with cross-functional teams for production and shipment planning.
- Communicate ongoing project statuses and updates with internal teams and clients efficiently.
- Serve as a primary contact for clients on project timelines and order details, resolving queries and coordinating approvals or changes as needed.
- Maintain compliance with contract requirements and manage related administrative tasks including invoicing and record keeping.
- Support senior project managers on high-priority or large projects, identifying and escalating risks promptly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- Background in project coordination, customer service, operations, or administrative roles is advantageous.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with business management software.
- Team player with a professional and customer-oriented attitude.
