Junior Konstrukteur (m/w/d) – Kassel

Role overview

A European engineering and IT services company with more than 1,500 employees is looking to expand its project teams as soon as possible. The position is based in Kassel and is intended for an early-career design engineer who can contribute to product development and technical drafting work.

Key responsibilities

• Create and update 3D models and technical drawings using Creo or CATIA.
• Apply design specifications and support the development of components.
• Review and record drawings, parts lists, and engineering documentation.
• Work closely with experienced designers and related departments to ensure smooth execution.
• Assist with technical clarifications and straightforward modifications to existing designs.

Profile and qualifications

• Completed degree or vocational training in mechanical engineering, design, or a comparable field.
• Initial hands-on experience in design work with Creo or CATIA.
• Basic understanding of technical drawings, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Careful, practical working style and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a team and solid technical understanding for implementing assigned tasks.
• Very strong German language skills at C1 level or higher are mandatory.
