Role Overview

We are seeking a Junior Graphic Designer with 3 to 5 years of experience to create polished and brand-consistent visual materials for internal marketing, pursuit/proposal support, and client communications. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic setting, adeptly balancing multiple projects while ensuring detail-oriented and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design high-quality graphics adhering to Consertus brand guidelines, including brochures, reports, infographics, presentations, templates, and event assets.
• Ensure visual consistency across all brand materials and communication channels.
• Convert complex technical and engineering concepts into clear and engaging visuals suitable for diverse audiences.
• Develop visual content supporting marketing campaigns, digital and print collateral, social media, events, executive communications, thought leadership, and internal messaging.
• Assist in producing and refining proposal documents by enhancing layout and visuals under tight timelines, collaborating with marketing and technical teams to improve readability and presentation quality.
• Create digital-first content for websites, intranet, email marketing, and social platforms; occasional support with basic motion graphics or video storyboarding is advantageous.
• Handle multiple simultaneous design tasks, ensuring accuracy, quality, and on-time completion; collaborate cross-functionally and maintain organized digital assets with version control and production standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in architecture, engineering, construction, consulting, or professional services.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing strong layout, information design, visual storytelling, and corporate communication skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills for polished presentation design.
• Excellent communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to respond to feedback and meet deadlines efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting proposals and pursuit teams in AEC, consulting, professional services, or government contracting.
• Knowledge of preparing print-ready files and coordinating with vendors.
• Familiarity with Canva or Figma platforms is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Basic experience in motion graphics or video editing tools like After Effects or Premiere Pro is a plus.
• Understanding of CMS platforms such as WordPress and email marketing tools is an advantage.

Working Conditions & Location

• This is a full-time exempt position, operating during standard business hours with occasional extended hours around critical deadlines like proposal submissions.
• The role offers remote or hybrid working arrangements within North America, favoring candidates residing relatively close to a Consertus office.
• Some travel may be required based on business needs, including important meetings and events.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range from $70,000 to $75,000 plus eligibility for bonuses.
