About the Role and Company

Join William Jackson Food Group's in-house marketing and creative team as a Junior Creative based in Greenford, London. This role blends graphic design with hands-on photography and videography to maintain and develop the visual identities of the Belazu and Miso Tasty brands. Belazu is acclaimed with B Corp status, Investors in People silver standard, and recognition as a Sunday Times Best Place to Work. With over three decades of experience, the company leads in supplying premium Middle Eastern and Mediterranean ingredients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute a ticketed design workflow, creating diverse materials like marketing brochures, posters, signage, and supermarket shopper marketing.
  • Prepare and modify print-ready packaging and label artwork, ensuring alignment with brand and legal standards for Belazu and Miso Tasty.
  • Translate brand tone of voice into consistent visual content across all communication touchpoints.
  • Participate actively in creative brainstorming to contribute original, brand-aligned concepts.
  • Conduct photography and videography for social media, including studio and on-location shoots, particularly in London restaurants.
  • Assist in organizing shoot preparations including creating storyboards, mood boards, shot lists, and styling.
  • Edit and optimize video and graphic assets for multi-channel dissemination, incorporating subtitles and motion graphics.
  • Retouch brand photography and manage the digital asset repository.
  • Create engaging GIFs, stop-motion videos, and motion graphics tailored for social media campaigns.
  • Explore and apply emerging AI creative tools such as Adobe Firefly and Claude to enhance ideation and streamline production, adhering to company AI guidelines.
  • Independently handle smaller design projects and timelines while providing support to senior creatives to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, new product development (NPD), and sales teams.

Candidate Profile

  • Prior experience working within a creative production environment or studio, preferably in FMCG or food sectors.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Media Encoder, Premiere Pro, and Capture One.
  • Possession of a degree, showreel, or portfolio demonstrating creative capabilities.
  • Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent command of written English.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently, self-manage, and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Receptive to constructive feedback and committed to continuous skill improvement.
  • Passionate about food and eager to visually express that enthusiasm.

Role Considerations

  • May not suit individuals who prefer singular-task focus rather than managing diverse daily activities.
  • Requires comfort with active involvement in photography/video shoots, including occasional London travel.
  • Demands reliable time management and teamwork skills.
  • Open to constructive criticism and adaptability.

Benefits and Terms

  • 25 days annual leave plus 8 public holidays
  • Auto-enrolment pension scheme
  • Eligibility for discretionary annual bonus
  • Life assurance after three years of service
  • Recognition through long service awards
  • On-site free parking
  • Up to 40% discount on company products
  • Access to an employee benefits portal featuring various discretionary discounts
  • Work schedule: 40 hours per week; typically 8am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday with flexibility
  • Hybrid working model: three days onsite at Greenford office, including travel to London for shoots as needed
  • Reports to the Head of Creative
