Lemonade Dolls is a vibrant and forward-thinking brand seeking a Junior Buyer / Product Developer to become an integral part of their product team. This role is pivotal in shaping the product range to align with the company's vision and drive brand success. The position reports directly to the Head of Product and involves diverse responsibilities across the product development cycle.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Head of Product to develop a product assortment aligned with brand strategies and performance goals.
• Assist in building the range and developing specific product categories.
• Analyze sales and inventory data to provide insights and recommendations for optimizing product selection.
• Support weekly trade meetings with updates and relevant data for the Buying team.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis through comp shops and external sources to track future trends.
• Manage range plans and critical paths, overseeing order progress from development to delivery and maintaining timelines.
• Lead daily product development activities ensuring timely product approvals and executions.
• Ensure timely placement of purchase orders with suppliers.
• Oversee sample management including labeling, maintaining development trackers, and preparing samples for meetings.
• Participate in fit meetings contributing input on fit, styling, and trims.
• Manage approvals for lab dips and trims.

Required Skills and Experience

• Current experience as a Junior Buyer or Product Developer, with essential buying or product development background.
• Understanding of product critical paths, lead times, and garment development processes.
• Strong analytical abilities to convert sales and inventory data into actionable recommendations.
• Experience collaborating with wholesale partners is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficient with computers, intermediate MS Office skills, and the capacity to adapt to new systems efficiently.
• Knowledge of lingerie or fashion industry is desirable but not essential.
• Experience working in a start-up environment is a significant benefit.
