Job Overview
We are looking for a Junior Account Manager to enhance relationships with merchant partners by engaging with them directly, resolving issues, and providing training on essential tools. The goal is to increase adoption, satisfaction, and retention among merchants.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead face-to-face meetings with merchant partners within your designated area, conducting routine visits to build strong relationships and offer hands-on assistance.
- Implement the Area Manager framework by planning visits thoughtfully, customizing discussion topics to fit each merchant's business needs, and ensuring meaningful interactions.
- Resolve merchant problems promptly or escalate as necessary, collaborating with Product, Support, and Operations teams to address gaps and prevent repeat issues.
- Train merchants on tools such as the Merchant App, Self-Serve Marketing, and Insights Portal to encourage usage and improve business results.
- Gather and communicate merchant feedback internally, document successful engagement techniques, and share best practices across teams.
- Develop comprehensive understanding of the merchant landscape, competitors, and local market trends in your area to identify potential growth possibilities.
- Track and report key performance indicators including Engagement levels, Satisfaction Scores, Product Adoption rates, Retention, and Issue Resolution times.
Requirements
- Possess a bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant discipline.
- Have a minimum of two years' experience in account management, business development, or field sales.
- Experience in the Food & Beverage or e-commerce sectors is advantageous.
- Proficient in leveraging data and key performance indicators to inform decisions and actions.
- Demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and the ability to work autonomously.
