About the Role
Busways Group is seeking a skilled IT Support Officer Level 2 for a 6-month contract based in Pymble, NSW. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the reliability and efficiency of transport technology systems that support safe bus services across NSW and South Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical support for IT incidents and service requests throughout the organisation.
- Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues and ensure prompt resolution.
- Manage and support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Setup, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop computers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Assist with network infrastructure support, including switches, routers, and wireless access points.
- Monitor systems for performance, backups, alerts, and overall infrastructure health.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and incident logs.
- Contribute to IT projects, system upgrades, and ongoing process improvements across the company.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in IT support, service desk, or infrastructure support roles.
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities with desktop hardware, software, and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Proficient in supporting Office 365 applications, particularly Teams and SharePoint.
- Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal — with a strong customer service orientation.
- Fundamental understanding of networking concepts, including switches, routers, and wireless technologies.
- Attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and collaborate well within a team.
- Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold valid unrestricted work rights in Australia.
