About the Role
Join a leading engineering and manufacturing company as an IT Support Associate based in Fort Worth, TX. This full-time, entry-level opportunity is designed for individuals eager to launch or advance their careers in IT by providing technical support within a dynamic manufacturing setting. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver first-level technical support addressing hardware and software concerns for internal users.
- Set up and configure desktops, printers, and other peripheral devices.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to Windows operating systems and business applications.
- Manage software installations, updates, and new application deployments.
- Support and troubleshoot local network connectivity issues.
- Assist with onboarding processes, including new user and workstation setups.
- Maintain high standards of customer service while resolving IT issues.
- Document all support activities and keep IT records up-to-date.
Qualifications
- At least six months of experience in desktop support or comparable technical education.
- Proficiency with Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments.
- Fundamental knowledge of PC hardware components and networking concepts.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Office suite and commonly used desktop software.
- Effective communication and strong customer service capabilities.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
- Certifications such as A+, Network+, or Microsoft are advantageous but not mandatory.
