Overview

This position requires relocation to Qatar, where you will be entrusted with selling iHorizons' portfolio of products and services across diverse sectors, handling the complete sales process from lead generation to deal closure, and managing new accounts with support from the Sales Operations Team.

Reporting Structure

You will report directly to the Sales Manager.

Key Objectives

  • Generate and convert leads into opportunities, submit bids, and close deals successfully.
  • Sell comprehensive and complex solutions to major organizations, meeting prescribed sales targets.
  • Manage accounts proactively to enable cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the entire sales life cycle.
  • Proactively hunt new business via professional networks, cold calls, and other methods to connect with decision-makers.
  • Act as a trusted technology advisor to clients, qualifying opportunities appropriately.
  • Understand clients' business and technology needs to ensure product expectations are met.
  • Collaborate with clients to craft tailored solutions and position iHorizons as a leading contender.
  • Manage the bidding process with the proposal team ensuring high quality and accurate submissions through deal signing.
  • Provide market, competitor, and bidding insights to senior management.
  • Independently negotiate and close small to medium deals; assist Sales Manager in larger negotiations.
  • Achieve or exceed revenue goals by acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts.
  • Maintain acceptable gross margins on revenues generated.
  • Serve as the customers’ main contact and manage ongoing relationships.
  • Conduct ongoing market analysis and stay informed on client and market developments.
  • Support client management during bidding, implementation, and after-sales phases.
  • Work closely with project teams to monitor project progress and customer satisfaction from kickoff to sign-off.
  • Develop comprehensive account plans to capture all revenue streams and risks.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Promote new iHorizons products and demonstrate how emerging technologies benefit clients.
  • Assist Sales Operations with maintaining customer records, contract renewals, invoice follow-ups, and payment collections.
  • Utilize company CRM to log activities and generate reports as needed.
  • Engage regularly with major customers and decision-makers to strengthen relationships.
  • Coordinate marketing initiatives and participation in trade shows and technology events.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development in sales and technology fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of overall experience with at least 1–2 years in a similar sales role.
  • Proven background in selling customized enterprise IT solutions is essential.
  • Experience in digital transformation sales is highly advantageous.
  • Prior sales experience in the Middle East, particularly Qatar, is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms is a plus.
