Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented IT & Security Analyst to join us part-time (~20 hours/week), assisting with IT security and compliance operations. You will collaborate closely with the CTO to maintain robust system security, strict access controls, and readiness for audits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing compliance efforts aligned with HITRUST, HIPAA, and SOC 2 frameworks under CTO supervision.
  • Draft and revise internal security policies and documentation.
  • Carry out annual risk assessments and compile evidence for third-party compliance audits.
  • Monitor security activities and incidents, driving mitigation initiatives.
  • Handle employee onboarding/offboarding procedures including system access setup and revocation.
  • Oversee management of internal tools, device configurations, access controls, and vendor assessments.
  • Support compliance documentation for Google Cloud Platform infrastructure alongside the CTO.
  • Participate in incident response and change management processes.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in IT support, security, or compliance roles.
  • Good understanding of HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC 2 compliance frameworks; eagerness to expand knowledge is important.
