About the Role
This remote, hourly contract position is designed for skilled equity research professionals interested in applying their expertise to advanced AI research and evaluation projects. The role focuses on utilizing financial analysis and public market knowledge to enhance AI systems that analyze companies, financial documents, and public disclosures.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data from publicly accessible company documents and regulatory filings.
- Examine and extract critical financial and business details from SEC documents such as 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other disclosures.
- Assess the precision, completeness, and quality of financial analyses and AI-generated results.
- Use equity research techniques to evaluate company performance and financial trends.
- Provide detailed, structured feedback to improve AI-based financial analysis accuracy and quality.
- Conduct comprehensive research on companies and industries using public information.
- Apply consistent, evidence-based judgment in reviewing financial research and analyses.
Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of equity research experience with reputed financial or investment firms or equivalent organizations.
- Proven expertise in analyzing and extracting data from SEC public filings.
- Deep understanding of financial statements, accounting standards, company fundamentals, and valuation methods.
- Experience in company and sector analysis.
- Strong analytical skills along with critical thinking and financial research capabilities.
- Exceptional written communication skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.
Preferred Experience
- Background in building financial models, earnings analysis, investment research, or valuation studies.
- Familiarity with analyzing public disclosures such as 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K reports, earnings releases, and investor presentations.
- Track record of generating or reviewing institutional-grade equity research.
- Exposure to AI-related projects focused on training, model evaluation, or financial data is advantageous.
Compensation and Engagement
- Competitive pay at $120 per hour.
